A police cordon remains in force around a section of Moor Park after a man was found dead.
Preston Police were called to Moor Park, close to the observatory on the Blackpool Road side, after reports of a man’s body being found.
A man in his 30s was found dead at the scene around 10.30am on Sunday (8 September).
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and is not connected to the BBC Radio 2 In The Park festival.
The cordon means part of the Blackpool Road pavement is closed along the side of Moor Park but it does not affect any roads around the park or access to the festival site.
