A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Fulwood.
Preston Police closed Watling Street Road in Fulwood near the Masjid-e-Salaam mosque zebra crossing.
The road was shut for around an hour on Sunday (8 September) shortly before 10pm – as thousands of people exited the BBC Radio 2 In The Park site and made their way home. The concert finished at 9.40pm in Moor Park.

A police spokesperson told Blog Preston: “We were called at shortly before 10pm yesterday to a report a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car on the zebra crossing near to Masjid E Salaam on Watling Street Rd at Preston.
“The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.”
Blog Preston confirmed with police during Tuesday afternoon the man remained in hospital.
No arrests have been made at this stage and anyone who witnessed the crash or has information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1402.
