A family escaped from a house fire in Leyland which has left their home destroyed.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent three crews to the fire in Merlin Grove during Wednesday evening.
The fire around 6.40pm ripped through the building and Blog Preston understands those inside managed to flee.

The fire service say no injuries were reported.
Crews from Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Penwortham remained in attendance for much of Wednesday evening.
Preston Police confirmed they attended and officers are to revisit the scene during Thursday (12 September) to join fire crews in establishing the cause of the fire. It is not clear at this stage whether the fire is suspicious or not.
