Councillor Aniela Bylinski Gelder, Deputy Leader of South Ribble Borough Council said: “We know many of our residents continue to be affected by the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. Many people are finding it difficult to cope with the increasing cost of food, energy bills, and household expenses.
“We want to support healthy and happy communities ensuring there are opportunities for everyone, which is why we have launched this cost-of-living roadshow to help residents access free services and support when they need it.
“We’ve worked on a number of initiatives to support our residents already this year with the aim to help tackle issues before they become overwhelming, as well as providing emergency support to those in need.”
This is the second time we have delivered the Together Roadshow this year, and just this month we delivered our school pop-up shops which provided free school uniforms for families.”
