Broad daylight police chase from M6 through Broughton leads to man caught in woods

A police chase took in the M6 and a large area north of Preston.

The car was seen by witnesses as driving through Broughton at ‘high speed’ with multiple police vehicles in pursuit at around 10.30am on Sunday (29 September).

The chase continued up the A6 before the driver left his vehicle at Billy Bob’s at Myerscough.

He was then found in a nearby woodland and arrested.

Adrian Lee, 35, of Ellen Street in Bamber Bridge, was charged with driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle without insurance, dangerous driving and failing to stop.

He is set to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court today (30 September).
