A brand new dating night is coming to Preston.
Actress and comedienne Emily Spowage will host the event, which is designed to buck the trend of online dating and encourage people to meet in real life.
The first speed dating night will take place at Chew’s Yard in Market Street West on a date to be confirmed.

Operations Manager Frank Whiteley said: “Lots of different groups and clubs meet at Chew’s Yard regularly.
“We just wanted to create a night where single people could meet in a relaxed environment and get to know each other better.”
Speed dating will be open to anyone over the age of 21.
