BBC Radio 2 In The Park Preston: Where drop-off and pick-up points will be

Anyone being dropped off at BBC Radio 2 In The Park is going to be directed to specific drop-off points.

A number of road closures will be in place around the Moor Park festival site and a ‘residents-only’ and ‘no waiting’ zone will be enforced throughout surrounding roads – so anyone thinking of quickly dropping off in Deepdale or Plungington side-streets won’t be able to.

Moor Park Avenue, Blackpool Road (the stretch alongside Moor Park) and Deepdale Road (again, the stretch alongside Moor Park) are all due to be closed during the Saturday and Sunday evening as the festival comes to a close.

Organisers are urging drivers to make use of the official drop-off and pick-up points.

Sainsbury’s at Deepdale, in Flintoff Way, is acting as the official family pick-up and drop-off throughout the weekend of Friday 6 September to Sunday 8 September.

If you’re planning to use a private-hire taxi then the pick and drop-off is the car park by the Heartbeat Centre at Deepdale Stadium.

For those who are disabled or have accessibility needs then there is a car park at Deepdale Stadium on the Deepdale Road side.

The pick-up and drop-off point for coaches and the city centre shuttle bus will be on St Gregory Road by the Minerva Health Centre side of Deepdale Stadium.
