BBC Radio 2 In The Park Preston to hear new Sting and Craig David music

Sting and Craig David are both bringing out new music around BBC Radio 2 In The Park

New music from Sting and Craig David is being released as they prepare to play at BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Preston.

Now performing as Sting 3.0 then ‘I Wrote My Name[Upon Your Heart]’ is Sting’s latest single.

The single was premiered on Radio 2 during Thursday morning and is his first new music since 2021.

After performing in Preston he heads off on a tour of the US and Canada.

He’s not the only act on the Radio 2 bill bringing out new music.

Fellow Saturday line-up performer Craig David has said he will be playing new tracks alongside his ‘classics’.

He told DJ Spoony during his Radio 2 show: “I’m so grateful to be performing such huge events, with all the support from Radio 2, and to go out there, with my full band, and play the classics. But I’m also going to slip something new into the mix.

“You’ve got to test a new record on the crowd…it’s exclusive! It’ll be the first time I perform this song that I’ve been really excited about. It’s got all the sentiment of what people know me for, but it’s also new for me!”
