Preston is set to see its usual weather return for the third and final day of BBC Radio 2 In The Park.
The Met Office has updated its forecast for Sunday (8 September) and it is pack the wellies and ponchos.
Moor Park is already soft and getting slightly muddy on the walkways to and from the main stage in particular so appropriate footwear of wellies or walking boots is advised as the park’s surface is likely to deteriorate with rainfall.

Here’s how the weather looks for Sunday hour-by-hour of the festival
10am – 11am – As the gates prepare to open we’re set to see rain as temperatures are at 17 degrees
11am – 1pm – Gates open and the chance of rain increases to 70 per cent – but it is listed as light rain.
1pm – 3pm – The chance of rain increases to 80 per cent for the early sets of the day, it is still listed as ‘light rain’. Temperatures of 18 degrees and there is very little wind.
3pm – 5pm – Chance of rain drops to 60 per cent, offering a little respite and it stays warm and muggy with humidity increasing above 90 per cent
5pm – 7pm – The weather really starts to turn, the wind speed picks up to approaching 30mph and there’s heavy rain forecast.
7pm – 9pm – As the headline sets approach, an 80 to 90 per cent chance of heavy rain and increasingly strong winds
9pm – 11pm – Take care on the journey home, the heaviest rain will be around 10pm and the gusts of 30mph remain all evening. Things start to calm a bit around 1am on Monday.
