Toddler knocked to floor in SpudBros queue by off-road bike

A toddler was knocked down after two people rode through the SpudBros queue on a motorbike.

Two people are seen to be riding a motorbike through the middle of the queue, across the Flag Market.

Those riding the bike chose to leave the scene rather than check the youngster – who was not injured – was okay.

The incident happened just after midday yesterday (14 August) and police are appealing for information.

A spokesperson for police said: “We are aware of a video on social media of an off-road motorbike colliding with a child on the Flag Market in Preston city centre.

“We were called at 12.11pm yesterday (14th August) to a report of a collision. Thankfully, the child was not injured.

“The rider and pillion passenger both left the scene on the motorbike and enquiries are ongoing to find them.

“If you have any information about the collision, please contact 101 – quoting log 0576 of 14th August 2024.”
