Three men have been arrested after thefts from a recycling centre in South Ribble.
Police were called at 7.20pm last night (28 August) after reports from a neighbourhood watch group of three males entering Farington Household Waste Recycling Centre.
There had been a number of thefts from the site over the last few weeks, police said.

Police arrested three men after a chase that saw two try to make it back to their vehicle and one trying to hide in a hedge.
The men, 30, 34 and 39, were arrested under suspicion of burglary, the vehicle seized, and they are now in custody awaiting interview.
A spokesperson for police said: “You may have seen police activity around Tank Roundabout on Flensburg Way, Leyland yesterday evening. There has been a number of theft incidents over recent weeks at the Farington Waste Recycling Site.
“To update you we have arrested three men following reports of people entering the Farrington Waste Recycling Site and taking property from within.”
