Takeaway delivery driver caught on e-bike on the M6 at Preston

A takeaway delivery driver has been arrested on the M6 at Preston.
The e-biker rider was found on the motorway near the city during Friday (23 August) evening.
Police stopped the man close to Junction 31 of the M6 northbound.

Lancashire Road Police said the ‘output of the bike’ fell into the moped category and required a licence to ride.
The rider also didn’t have insurance.
The bike was seized and the rider has been summoned to court.
