Storm Lilian has blown into Preston during the early hours of Friday (23 August) morning.
Motorists are being warned of disruption and there’s a fallen tree on the Penwortham bridge.
Neil Pickup posted a picture of the tree blocking the lane in Liverpool Road heading towards Preston from Penwortham.

There’s also reports of fallen trees in Andertons Way, Fulwood, and a fallen tree up at Scorton blocking the road through the village.
Preston Bus has diversions in place on the 19 and 45 routes due to a fallen tree in Fulwood.
While Egerton Road in Ashton-on-Ribble is blocked by a fallen tree near the junction with Hastings Road.
There’s also reports of issues with the traffic lights at the London Road and New Hall Lane junction, near The Range – which is causing traffic disruption during Friday morning.
The Met Office has a yellow weather warning in place for strong winds in Preston and Lancashire until around 11am on Friday.
Gusts of around 50mph are being experienced in the city.
Weather conditions are due to improve as the day goes on, with sunshine expected from lunchtime onwards and wind speeds dropping to around 30mph.
