Seven people were injured in a crash between a lorry, a campervan and a car on the M6 that will leave the carriageway closed for a considerable amount of time.
Police were called to the crash on the northbound carriageway of the M6 close to junction 27 at around 2.07pm today (30 August).
The crash involved a lorry, campervan and a car and has caused significant damage to the central reservation. This, combined with the lorry shedding its load of beer and cider cans across the carriageway, means that the M6 will be closed in both directions between junction 28 and 27 for ‘a considerable amount of time’.
