A major route between Preston and Blackburn was shut due to a serious crash.
Emergecy services rushed to the scene on Hoghton Lane (A675) on Friday (30 August) evening.
The road was shut near to Hoghton Tower from Chapel Lane to the junction with The Boars Head pub.

The crash took place shortly after 5pm on Friday (30 August). Initial reports suggest a motorbike was involved in the crash.
An ambulance has been seen leaving the scene and a police cordon remains in place.
Hoghton Lane, where it becomes Blackburn Old Road, reopened late on Friday evening after being closed for several hours.
