Residents across three postcodes in and around Preston may have no water or low water pressure.
An investigation has been launched by United Utilities this morning (22 August) into a problem in PR2, which includes Fulwood, Grimsargh and Lea, PR3, which includes Broughton, Garstang, Longridge and Grimsargh and PR5, which includes Bamber Bridge, Walton-le-Dale and Samlesbury.
It is not clear how many homes have been affected by the issue but it is confirmed to be affecting residents in Fulwood and Broughton.

A spokesperson for United Utilities said this morning: “We’re investigating a problem in your area, which may mean you have no water, or low water pressure.
“We’re sorry for the inconvenience, we’re working as quickly as we can to get your taps flowing again.”
