Red Arrows flight route shows them skimming Wyre and Fylde villages

The Red Arrows will be visible in the countryside on the outskirts of Preston as they perform at Blackpool Air Show.

Route details for the iconic red jets has been released for the Friday (9 August) flying up to Blackpool.

Those living in Wyre and Fylde villages are being urged to keep their eyes on the skies.

The Red Arrows will be just north of Great Eccleston around 5.26pm on the Friday and then north of Wesham at 5.27pm. They will fly over Mill Farm, the home of AFC Fylde before landing at Blackpool Airport.

The map below shows the exact route due to be taken on Friday (9 August). They are then due to perform in Blackpool for the air show on the Saturday and Sunday.
