A MMA fighter who trains in Preston is preparing to return to the ring at OKTAGON 61.
Corey Fry will take on Vladimir Lengal in Brno, Czech Republic in front of a sold-out crowd.
Fry, who competes for Europe’s premier MMA promotion, OKTAGON MMA, is due to return to the cage on 21 September.

Legal, who has a boxing background, made the move to MMA and has since become one of the OKTAGON stars, with a record of 6-3 and fighting some of Europe’s best talent.
When the fight was announced, Fry said: “I’m going to take his teeth, take his fans, and take over the entire show.”
Fry won his promotional debut with a first-round armbar submission victory against undefeated German Denis Ilbay, in Cologne. He earned a £5,000 performance of the night bonus.

His next fight ended in defeat against German prospect, Max Holzer at OKTAGON 52 in Newcastle, which took Fry’s record to 5-2.
