A sight loss charity based in Penwortham is hosting its first-ever charity ball this November.

Galloway’s, based at Howick House, supports people with sight loss across the North West.

Their ball will be an evening of raising funds for the charity, spreading awareness whilst also providing a ‘night to remember’. They aim to raise £10,000.

Iain Pearson, CEO at Galloways said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our first charity ball.

“This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together, have a fantastic night out, and support a cause that significantly impacts the lives of those with visual impairments.”

The event will be held at Ribby Hall in Kirkham on 9 November, starting at 7pm.

There will be entertainment and guests will start the night with a three-course meal prepared by Ribby Hall’s top chefs.

After dinner, a live band will take the stage, providing people with a night of music and dancing.

As well as this, there will be a silent auction and raffle, with prizes on offer and all proceeds going to the Galloways.
