A chalkboard notice stated: “Moka On The Balcony is closed. Thank you to all our customers for the last 15 years with us.”
A further statement released via social media said: “We are very sad to inform you all that MOKA on the Balcony has made the difficult decision to close.
“We are so grateful to each and every customer who has supported us over the last 15 years.
“We also want to say a huge thank you to our hardworking and loyal staff, we will miss you all so much.
“Please keep supporting city centre small businesses, people of Preston.”
The business – despite bearing the same name and branding – has not been associated with Moka on Fishergate for many years.
Moka on Fishergate itself is continuing to trade as normal.
Blog Preston has contacted Moka On The Balcony and the Fishergate Shopping Centre for comment.
