A major road in and out of Longridge is due to be closed for up to seven days for resurfacing work.
Whittingham Road, which starts at the south side of Stonebridge roundabout in Longridge, will be closed from Tuesday 6 August to Monday 12 August, Lancashire County Council has confirmed.
On the LCC website it states that a ‘road closure is required for full road reconstruction’ on Whittingham Road, including Trent Street, but ‘not including Chatburn Road’, which is closer to the roundabout.
