A man was conned and sold a £650 phone which turned out to be a fake.
The victim met a man on Morrisons car park in Bamber Bridge after seeing the item for sale on an online marketplace.
The meeting happened on 14 June this year and the phone turned out to be a fake.

Police have identified a man they want to speak with as part of their enquiries (pictured below).
A spokesperson for police said: “We would like to speak to him in connection with an investigation into a fraud where £650 was paid for a mobile phone which turned out to be fake.
“We have conducted numerous enquiries but have so far been unable to identify him which is why we are asking for your help.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting the log number 0448 of 14th June 2024 or email 3027@lancashire.police.uk”
