A giant electrical transformer has made its way from the Docks to Penwortham.
Moving to the National Grid site at Howick Cross Lane the 200-tonne transformer was moved by specialist equipment.
Paul Gray snapped the convoy making its way up Liverpool Road and up the hill into Penwortham.

A police escort accompanied the convoy with rolling road closures in place along with cones put out to stop parking on certain sections of road on the route through Ashton-on-Ribble and into Penwortham. It was limited to 15mph as a maximum speed.
The transformer is due to reach its final destination at the Penwortham power station by Sunday lunchtime.
It arrived on Wednesday at the Docks, on the River Trader barge, and was winched onto land by crane on Saturday – after being delayed by Storm Lilian.
