Firefighters tackle fire at farm buildings near Longridge

Smoke was billowing across countryside outside of Preston due to a fire at a farm near Longridge.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Preston and Fulwood to the fire which was close to the Brabiner Lane junction of Whittingham Lane.
The fire, which started around 9.45am on Saturday (3 August), spread plumes of black smoke through the air due to waste burning.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, it is understood to be at farm buildings near Whittingham Lane.
