Delays on M6 at Junction 31 after three-vehicle crash

Delays are building on the M6 northbound close to Junction 31.

There’s reports of a crash involving three vehicles in the lead up to the Ticked Trout junction.

The delays are building back to Junction 29 M6 northbound and also the M61 northbound where it meets the M6.

The crash took place shortly before 4pm on Wednesday (14 August).

One lane is shut due to the crash and police are at the scene.

Highways North West say there’s delays of at least 30-minutes.

There’s also slow traffic on the southbound M6 from Junction 31 back to Junction 32 and also onto the M55 eastbound.

Traffic England is reporting delays are likely until around 5.45pm on Wednesday.
