Road closures have been announced for the BBC Radio 2 In The Park festival which is taking place in Moor Park from 7-8 September, with a DJ set on Friday 6 September.
The main closures are set to be in place around Moor Park from 8:30pm to midnight, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8, to allow people to exit the park ‘swiftly and safely’.
Roads affected include sections of Sir Tom Finney Way, Deepdale Road, Moor Park Avenue, St Stephen’s Road, St Gregory Road, Park Side, Bill Shankley Crescent and Lowthorpe Road.

A provisional map showing the festival site has been released to Blog Preston, however event organisers stress it is subject to change.
Preston City Council has confirmed that from 8:30pm to midnight sections of Blackpool Road, between Garstang Road and Sir Tom Finney Way will be closed.
They also confirmed that roads around Deepdale Stadium including, Meadow Street, St Stephens, St Gregorys, Lowthorpe Road, Parkside and Bill Shankley Crescent, will only be open to permitted vehicles.
From 9am to 11pm Sir Tom Finney Way and Deepdale Road between Blackpool Road and St Thomas’s Road will be closed along with Moor Park Avenue between Garstang Road and Sir Tom Finney Way.

The closures are said to be kept to a minimum and will not be in place all day.
Pick up and drop off points for families and friends can be accessed at Sainsbury’s on Flintoff Way.
For private hire vehicles the Shankly car park at Deepdale can be accessed, for coaches and shuttles to the train station the Minnerva health centre car park and for Hackney taxis, Lowthorpe Road.
BBC Radio 2 are encouraging sustainable travel and are advising those attending the festival to use public transport if possible.
