A rubbish next Preston InstaMeet is confirmed

While it doesn’t sound the most glamorous of locations, the next Preston InstaMeet promises to be an intriguing one.

We’re going behind the scenes at Preston’s Cleansing Department in the Argyll Road depot.

Based in the heart of Deepdale the site dates back to the 1880s and has been helping deal with the city’s waste ever since.

We can see plenty of examples of Victorian architecture, stables where the horses were kept and the former tipping area.

The InstaMeet’s give you the chance to see where you often can’t in the city and then share pictures on Insta.

The event is taking place as part of the Heritage Open Days with a 3pm tour on Sunday 15 September.

If you’d like to attend then please fill in the form below, each person attending must fill in the form and there’s a maximum of 25 spaces for the event. If you can’t see the form, tap here.

Please ensure you’re wearing sensible footwear and arrive in good time for the tour to begin at 3pm.
