Preston man jailed after police find more than £50,000 worth of drugs

A man from Preston has been jailed after police found more than £50,000 worth of drugs following a vehicle stop.

Michael Brennan was stopped in his car back in April by officers from Preston Task Force on Hawarden Road in Fishwick. 

Following a search, a large quantity of heroin and cocaine was discovered and a further search of a nearby address found over £50,000.

Brennan, 43, of Broughton Street, Preston was convicted at Preston Crown Court last week (26th June, 2024) of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

He will serve five years and six months behind bars.
