A new community cafe is set to open its doors on Blackpool Road in Ribbleton this August.
Brekkie N Beyond, managed by 34-year-old Charlene Rowe, is set to serve breakfasts, sandwiches, pies and more including takeaway Sunday dinners.
With the motto ‘a laugh and a bite, to start your day right,’ the new business aims to be a community hub for local people, using local produce.

It will be open seven days a week, 7am – 2pm through Monday to Saturday and 9am – 2pm on Sundays.
The shop has had a whole revamp ahead of opening, in the style of a cafe mixed with an up-market bistro with new lighting and tables.
With community ‘at its heart’ the cafe will also host as an advertisement for local businesses who can promote on their 70-inch TV screen.
They also have ideas to provide children with filled lunch bags, a way to take a ‘parent’s mind off things’ during the summer holidays.

“This new business will be an opportunity for everyone to relax in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I’m really looking forward to the start of this new venture and meeting our future customers.”
