A pub in Lostock Hall is looking for a new licensee ahead of a planned renovation.

The Victoria, on Waktin Lane in Lostock Hall, is one of of three Star Pubs, a business that is part of Heineken, in the area. The others are the Wishing Well and Pleasant Retreat.

The pub in its current guise reopened in August 2017 after a period closed for refurbishment and was rebranded as ‘The Vic’.

Star Pubs says it has ‘major refurbishment’ plans for the venue if a new licensee can be found.

A spokesperson for Star Pubs told Blog Preston: “Star Pubs is keen to invest in a major refurbishment of The Victoria, Lostock Hall, once a new licensee has been found to take it forward.

“Located on the Leyland to Preston road, the large roadside pub is walking distance for many local residents. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor space including a great patio area to the front, a beer garden and parking.

“The pub layout inside includes three trading areas and a three-bedroom flat. The new look top quality local, will offer food, a premium range of drinks and have capacity to pub on live entertainment.”
