A 70-year-old biker from Walton-le-Dale is in hospital after a serious crash in Tarleton.
Southport New Road was shut when a BMQ X6 and a BMW R1200RT motorbike were involved in the crash around 5pm on Tuesday 9 July.
Ormskirk and Rural West Lancs Police say the rider of the bike has serious injuries. The car driver was uninjured.

The crash took place in Southport New Road, the A565, where it meets the A59 at Tarleton lights. Police shut the road for around five hours while accident investigation work took place.
Sergeant Laura Kendall of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This collision has left a man with some very serious injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who has any dashcam footage or CCTV to get in touch.”
