The team paid tribute to the former coach on their social media pages.
This year Chris was elected into the ‘Rams Hall of Fame’ for his ‘selfless’ years of coaching the team.

A spokesperson said: “He was essential to the creation of and early success of our team.
“Greater still, Chris was an exceptional human being. Guiding and tutoring young men and women, often away from home for the first time, Chris instinctively acted as a support figure and helped shape many young athletes into incredible players, coaches and most importantly, people.
“Chris will be sorely missed and we feel eternally grateful that he chose to lend his time to us and our thoughts are with his family, friends and the many lives he touched.”
The news comes after the team paid tribute to a former UCLan Rams captain and member of the UCLan Rams All Decade team, Jack, who died on his way to work.
