A club in Preston has raised over £700 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Preston’s New Meadow Street Labour Club, based in North Road, hosted a Northern Soul night.
David Leigh, a club member, and his partner Rachel Pennington organised the event after hosting a similar one at Lea Club last year which also raised money for the charity.

David, a decorator, has been supporting Rosemere for a couple of years in thanks of the treatment his friend received.
The Wigan Casino night saw Northern Soul DJs, who gig throughout the region, donating their services to support David.
There was also a raffle and football card game, bringing the total to £740.
Rosemere Cancer Charity funds equipment, research, and training that the NHS cannot afford to make a patient’s cancer journey more effective and stress-free.
