Police hunt van driver after road rage incident saw biker punched

A road rage incident between a van driver and a biker is being investigated.

South Ribble Police say a Harley Davidson rider was punched by the driver of a white Transit Van.

The initial report of a crash involving the two vehicles is said to have took place on Lostock Lane, Bamber Bridge, before the Poachers Pub around 6.30pm on May 19.

The motorbike rider was then punched in London Way. He suffered minor injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information and footage from the incident, as well as information on the whereabouts of the van, or it’s driver.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting log 1276 of May 19.
