M6 Preston delays as caravan overturns near Junction 31

Long delays are expected on the M6 due to a crash near Junction 31.

A caravan has overturned near the Tickled Trout junction on the M6 southbound at Preston.

Traffic England is reporting there are delays likely until around 3pm on Saturday (1 June). Around 3.30pm Highways England North West re-opened all lanes and delays have begun to ease.

There is slow traffic back to Junction 33 (Garstang) on the southbound side.

The northbound M6 is also seeing delays of around half-an-hour from Junction 28 (Leyland) through to Junction 31.

There’s also congestion on the M61 north where it meets the M6, with delays back to Junction 8 for Chorley.
