The celebration reaffirms Caribbean identity, history, and culture for the descendants of the Windrush generation and acts as a space for them to come together and remember the past.
Running from 12pm to 8pm the festival saw live music, DJ sets, fairground rides and food stalls.
There was also a live demonstration from Christine Cherry who was a finalist on The Great Pottery Throwdown in 2022.
The Windrush 76 Festival received funding from Preston BID’s Special Projects Fund.
