Work has begun on a new 211-home housing development in Cottam, Preston.
David Wilson Homes has launched their new development, Calder Rise on Cottam Way, which is set to deliver a collection of two, three and four-bedroom properties.
As well as this, Calder Rise is set to underpin around 420 jobs for local people and bring a ‘significant investment into the area’.

All 211 properties have been allocated as ‘Part L homes’, meaning the new residents will have the potential to benefit from cost savings on their energy bills and enjoy eco-friendly and sustainable living.
Claire Jarvis, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes North West, was recently onsite to lay the bricks of the first properties alongside Senior Site Manager, Gary Atherton, and Contracts Manager, Jordan Wood.
David Wilson Homes will soon be launching their show homes at the development, following a pre-launch event at Inglewhite Meadow in Longridge.

“Throughout the development’s progression, we will be contributing to the local community through the new homes provided, jobs supported and our financial investment in the area’s facilities and services.
“We pride ourselves on our commitment to the local community at each of our new developments and we’re thrilled to have this opportunity to support the demand for new homes in Cottam.”
