Two women charged with thefts from TK Maxx in Fishergate

Two women have been charged after shoes, underwear and socks were taken from a Preston city centre shop.

Preston Police say TK Maxx in the Fishergate Shopping Centre was targeted around 1.30pm on Wednesday 29 May.

Two women were arrested at the scene with police saying around £400 worth of goods had been taken.

Liona Mitrache, 23 and Alina Avanu, 23, both from New Hall Lane, Fishwick, have been charged with theft from a shop. They have both been released on bail and will appear in court on 29 August.
