The Far East Asian eatery will be the fifth addition to the already-established Chew’s Yard food offering when it opens later this month.

Founded in Manchester’s Albert Square in 1997, Tampopo is known for dishes such as katsu curry, sticky wings and satay chicken.
The Chew’s Yard location will be Tampopo’s seventh, adding to three restaurants in Manchester, two in London, and a kiosk in The Trafford Centre.
David Fox, co-founder of Tampopo, found his original inspiration for the restaurant from his travels around the Far East.
“I spent many years travelling South-East Asia, attending cookery schools from Bali to Bangkok,” said David. “I’ve made it my life’s work to bring these incredible recipes back to the UK.”

Tampopo is the title of a Japanese film that chronicles a woman’s search for the perfect bowl of noodles; a quest the chain say they recreate every day.
A spokesperson for Chew’s Yard said: “We can’t wait to welcome Tampopo to Chew’s Yard!”
Find Tampopo at Chew’s Yard in Market Street West from Thursday 23 May.
