Preston went to the polls on Thursday 2 May and you can join us for extensive live coverage on what happens in the battle for control of the Town Hall.

With 16 seats up for grabs the city’s Labour group will be expecting to maintain or increase its majority with how the national party is polling at present.

They’ve held power in the city for more than a decade now.

The local election count is taking place in the Guild Hall foyer during Friday (3 May) and we’ll be there to get all the results and reaction on how the political map of the city looks.
