Penwortham park closed due to £90k revamp

A children’s park in Penwortham is getting a £90k revamp.
King George V Playing Field play area, off Crookings Lane, is currently closed due to the refurbishment works taking place.
The work will replace existing equipment for toddlers and juniors with a range of new equipment.

The play area is also due to be resurfaced.
Contractors are currently on site and the works are planned to be finished in time for the summer holidays.
