Together Workspace is putting on an open event on Saturday 4 May from 1pm-5pm so you can have a look at the new business.

The premises is a new start-up business offering office coworking space in Freckleton Street, Kirkham. Co-working spaces have become more popular since more people are working remotely.

Together Workspace gives people in the area the chance to link up with fellow workers rather than working on their own at home.

A spokesperson from Together Workspace said: “We want to help people have the best of both by bringing high quality working spaces close to where people live. Our first venture in Kirkham has been converting what used to be an old Indian restaurant and flat, into what is now an amazingly designed work environment, with various working areas suitable for all needs.

“These spaces only exist in the cities but people often want to live in more rural towns. We aim to collaborate with local councils and businesses, facilitating meetings and fostering community engagement.

“More people working locally will increase foot traffic to the high street, enhancing the sense of community and support in Kirkham.

“Together Workspace offers a superior alternative to home or coffee shop working, providing reliable high-speed internet, a supportive community, and flexibility to suit various work-life balances, benefiting both individuals and businesses alike.”
