A man has been stabbed in the chest near Avenham and Miller Park.
Preston Police have closed off the entrance to the park from West Cliff.
A police presence has been in place since shortly after 9.30am on Friday (17 May).

A man, in his 40s, was found with serious injuries to his chest and has been taken to hospital to treatment.
Police say his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody.
The West Cliff entrance to the park remains closed off.
