A man has been jailed after smashing his way into a car to carry out a high-value theft.

Almost £4,000 worth of items, including designer clothing, were stolen when a Range Rover window was smashed on Ribbleton Lane on 30 April.

Police issued an appeal asking for the public’s help in identifying two people they wanted to speak to in connection with the theft.
