A man was killed in a one-vehicle incident in Chorley yesterday morning (18 May).
Police were called at around 10.48am to the A6 Preston Road at Clayton-le-Woods after reports of a crash.
A Suzuki Celerio car had been travelling south on the A6 towards Chorley and collided with a garden wall. No other vehicles are thought to have been involved in the incident.

A man in his 70s was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage that might confirm what happened in the collision.
A spokesperson for police said: “Our officers were called to the A6 Preston Road to a report of a collision.
“They found that a Suzuki Celerio car travelling south on the A6 towards Chorley had been in collision with a garden wall.
“No other vehicle was involved. The driver of the Suzuki, a man in his 70s, was very sadly pronounced deceased at hospital. Our thoughts are very much with his family and loved ones at this distressing time.”
