A busy road through Penwortham is set to see major disruption from Tuesday.

Lancashire County Council is putting temporary traffic lights in place in Leyland Road between Penwortham and Lostock Hall.

The stretch of road from the former Sumpter Horse pub down to The Cawsey and Bee Lane roundabout is to be a single stretch of carriageway from Tuesday (7 May) to Friday 17 May.

Parking on that stretch of Leyland Road where the roadworks are taking place will also be prohibited during the roadworks.
