Nominated projects from Preston were invited to an in-store ‘Grow How’ session on 4 May, where Intact was unveiled as the winner.
The community centre will now receive a one-on-one session with Dobbies’ colleagues to kick-start the activity, with the team supporting them through their project.
As well as receiving products, tools and plants, there will be volunteer hours allocated to help bring the project to fruition and keep their outdoor space blooming. The Community Centre hopes to ‘encourage school pupils to plant for themselves and enjoy the beauty of nature’.
