A road on the South Ribble and Chorley border is closed this morning after a fire.
Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service and Lancashire Constabulary were called to Gregson Lane at around 6.10am this morning (23 May) to reports of a fire.
The road was closed while the fire service dealt with the incident and it remains closed at the time of writing. Lancashire Constabulary and fire crews remain in attendance.

The fire reportedly took place at a derelict building. The road is closed between Friths Court and Private Road.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said: “At 06:10 on 23 May, four fire engines from Preston and Bamber Bridge attended a derelict building fire on Gregson Lane, Hoghton, Preston.
“Firefighters used one hose reel, bolt croppers, a triple-extension ladder, and dry powder to extinguish the fire. They remain in attendance.”
