Crash between ‘trials bike’ and Vauxhall Zafira leaves 19-year-old in hospital

A 19-year-old man remains in hospital with injuries after a crash between a ‘trials-type bike’ and a car.

Preston Police say they were called to Alder Road in Ribbleton during Saturday (18 May) afternoon.

The crash took place around 12.40pm and involved a Vauxhall Zafira and a bike – thought to be a white and blue trials-type bike.

Police are now appealing for information on the whereabouts of the bike along with anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage.

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting log 0632 of May 18.
