Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a woman last seen in Preston city centre during Saturday afternoon.

Johanne Anderson, from Leyland, was last seen leaving the St George’s Shopping Centre around 3pm on Saturday 18 May.

Update: Police say Johanne was found safe and well during Monday afternoon

Police say the 50-year-old may have gone in the direction of the Slug and Lettuce pub in Church Street.

Johanne is 5’6″, medium build and has light brown hair tied in a bun.

She was last seen wearing a blue denim dungaree dress with a white t-shirt underneath, white trainers and carrying a blue bag.

Joanne has links to Preston, Leyland and the Middleton area of Manchester.

Anyone who sees her should call 999 and anyone with information on where she might be should call police on 101 quoting log 0878 of 18 May 2024.
